I Am here to help

For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. (Isaiah 41:13)

Hear the Lord saying to you today, “Don’t be afraid, my beloved, I am here to help.”

Is there something in your life that has caused you to be afraid?

Is there something worrying you?

Do you feel alone and as if there is no one to understand or help you?

Regardless of whether we are able to sense Him by our side or not, it does not change the truth that He will never leave us and never abandon us.

In this life on earth, it is easy to be distracted by all the noise. It can be easy to feel as though you are alone in your journey.

While God never promises us a life without problems or challenges, He does promise us that He will never leave us during those tough times.

He promises to hold onto us and stay by our side even amidst fearful situations. He promises to strengthen us, protect us, and uphold us with His righteous right hand!

While the number varies depending on the translation, the phrase “fear not” is found over 300 times in the Bible! This is a constant reminder that we need not submit to fear and that we can trust in our savior.

Whenever you begin to feel fear and doubt creeping in, remember that you have authority over the power of the enemy! Tell Satan to get lost and remind yourself that the Lord is with you in that very moment, holding your entire world in His hands.

If you’ve struggled with being afraid lately, know that the Lord is speaking to you today in loving reassurance. He wants you to know He has not forgotten about you, He has not let go, and He certainly has never left you alone.

As you go through your day, be at peace knowing your Heavenly Father holds you by your right hand. As His beloved children, we are never too old or too independent to seek comfort from our Heavenly Father!

I read this devotion on a day I needed it most, I woke up feeling such a heaviness in my spirit, but God. The moment I read this devotion and allowed Isaiah 41:13 to sink deep into my spirit I felt the heaviness lift. Was it a day full of perfection, no, I had to choose to find the beauty in the day and I did just that. I know no matter what I face, He is holding my right hand, saying, “Don’t be afraid, my beloved, I am here to help.” I encourage you today to take Isaiah 41:13 with you throughout your day and remind the enemy just who is holding your hand and speaking into your situation and your entire day.

Have a beautiful and uplifting day in The Lord!

He will help you!

For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. (Isaiah 41:13)

I recently read. Our Lord God is sovereign and in control of all things. He is all-powerful and all-loving toward us. When we are staring something truly scary in the face, He wants us to remember His promise: He will help us. We don’t need to be afraid because the One who is in control of all is on our side.

The physical image of God’s reassurance is of Him taking hold of our hand. He is holding our hand and walking us through the fire. But God doesn’t take just any hand. He takes the right hand. In the Bible the right hand is mentioned quite often. Why? Because the majority of us are right-handed. We use our right hand the most. It is our strong hand, our action hand. And it’s that hand that God takes hold of. He is not only telling us not to fear and that He will help us, but by taking hold of our hand of action, He reminds us yet again who is in control. Spoiler alert: it’s not us.

God holds onto our right hand so we can have the reassurance of His comfort and presence and so we can be right next to Him watching as HE, not us, HE, fights for us, shields us and saves us. Without our hand we are useless to defend ourselves which is a reality. We are not capable of saving ourselves which is why we require a Savior to do it for us. And praise Him that we have one! Because of Jesus Christ, we can release our sense of control to the One who is actually in control and trust in Him to help us out of our fear and into the peace that comes with His presence and touch.

Thank You God, You are in control of all things and it’s not for me to fight any battle alone but to trust in You and You alone, not myself or anyone or thing but You. You watch over me, You shield me and You fight my battles. God, You are my protector. Help me Lord to be still and know. Amen.

Have a wonderful day in The Lord!

Today’s Reading is Isaiah 41:10-13
